Linguine with Garlic and Oil

It is one of the quickest meal that any individual can prepare and eat. It is affordable and tastes great. Good when served with green salad. 

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Servings: 4


450 gms of linguine
½ cup of virgin olive oil
5 cloves of sliced garlic
1 pinch of dried chili pepper flakes
1/4th cup of flat leaf parsley
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper
1/4th cup of grated cheese


  1. As linguine is readily available in the market, follow the preparation directions as prescribed on the cover. 
  2. In a cooking pan, add olive oil and sauté sliced garlic. Stir well on medium flame and remove the garlic after they turn to golden brown. 
  3. Add dry chili pepper flakes and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add parsley and salt (to taste) and cook for another 2 minutes. 
  5. Add cooked linguine and sauté garlic and heat for another 1 minutes. Stir well to mix the ingredients thoroughly. 
  6. Sprinkle black pepper on the mixture before serving.
