Ingredients:
1 large bunch of Spinach chopped
1 cup of Paneer diced (cottage cheese)
1 Onion medium sized, chopped
2 large Tomatoes - finely chopped
2 large Tomatoes - finely chopped
1 tsp of minced Garlic
½ tsp of minced Ginger
1 tsp Kasuri Methi
1 tsp Kasuri Methi
4 Green Chillies
1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder
½ tsp of Garam Masala
2 tsp of Ghee (or oil)
2 tsp Fresh Cream
Pinch of Sugar
1 cup of Milk
Salt to taste
Method:
- Boil spinach, onions, green chillies for 10 mins
- Cool and grind them into fine paste
- In a heavy bottomed vessesl - heat oil in a pan and chopped ginger, chopped garlic and fry until they are brown in colour
- Now add chopped tomatoes and cook until oil shows on top.
- Next add kasuri methi, garam masala and tumeric powder and mix well
- Next add the Spinach paste, diced paneer and milk and cook for some time
- Add salt as needed
- Finally garish with fresh cream and and Serve hot ..thats it Delicious Palak Paneer is ready !
Note:
- Make sure to clean the Spinach thoroughly, as it a ground grown vegetable
